The yellow markers indicate the wedding site (122 Old Road, Clermont NY) and the Black Swan, where we'll be getting together Friday evening. Driving Directions
The wedding site is about a 2.5 hour drive north of New York City.
From Tivoli
Leave town on Broadway/County Road 78 (the main street) heading east.
Left on US Route 9G North.
Old Road is 1.3 miles ahead to the left, just after Lasher Road. We will have a sign.
The house is the last house on the left, just before Old Road merges back onto 9G.
From Rhinebeck
Leave town on US Route 9 North (Montgomery Street).
After 2 miles, turn left onto US Route 9G North.
Old Road is 8.6 miles ahead.
From Hudson
Leave town on US Route 9G South/NY 23B/ South 3rd Street.
Drive 14.2 miles.
The turnoff for Old Road will be on your right, shortly after you pass County Road 6.
The house is the first on the right.
From the Taconic Parkway
Take the exit for NY 199 to Pine Plains/Red Hook.
Turn left onto NY 199 West.
Drive 9.4 miles, then right on US 9G North.
The turn-off for Old Road (to the left) will be 5.4 miles ahead, just after Lasher Road.
The house is 1/5 mile on the left.
From the New York State Thruway/I-87
Take exit 19 for NY 28 East/Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge.
If you are planning to take the train, tickets will be cheaper if you buy them a week or more in advance. For those arriving by train there are taxi services available at both the Rhinecliff and Hudson stations. There are generally taxis waiting for each arriving train, but you may want to call ahead to make sure. Correction: taxis are usually not waiting, so be sure to call ahead.

Car Rental
For those interested in renting a car in the area, Enterprise Car Rental can arrange to pick you up at the Rhinecliff train station and drive you to their rental office in Kingston (Mon to Fri only, however). Call the office in Kingston for details: (845) 336-4700.
Shuttle from Hudson
We will run a shuttle van from Hudson to the wedding site and back on Saturday. Pickup will be at the St. Charles Hotel, 16 Park Place, at 4:15 pm. For the return, we plan on running two trips, at around 11 pm and 12:30 am, but the exact times will depend on when people want to go home.
Because there probably will not be enough space in the van to accommodate everyone at once, for the afternoon trip to the wedding site we will arrange carpooling or other additional transport. Therefore, if you are staying in Hudson and have not already been in touch with us about the shuttle, please let us know if you are interested in taking it or if you will be driving.
