Taking the train?

Apparently taxis generally do not greet the Amtrak trains arriving in Rhinecliff and Hudson, so to be on the safe side we suggest calling ahead. FYI, if you're staying in Hudson at the St. Charles, it's about 20 min on foot from the station, so if you're not too encumbered the walk might be a nice way to see the town.

What to wear

Hi all. We've gotten a few questions about what to wear to the wedding, so here are some suggestions. It's outdoors on the lawn and may be warm, so for the women, summer dresses and flat shoes are recommended. For the men, a lightweight jacket and/or tie would work well, or a summer suit if you're feeling ambitious. Please get in touch with us if you have other questions. See you soon!

19 days and counting . . .

Hello everyone! We have updated this site with all the latest and greatest wedding information. We encourage you to read the Things to Know page and look at Directions/Transportation as well (see the links at the bottom of this page). If you have further questions, please let us know. Otherwise, we'll see you very soon!

Update: The St. Charles Hotel in Hudson still has rooms on reserve for us, and will hold them until June 28th, not June 13th. For anyone looking for bed-and-breakfast accommodations beyond what is on our list, there are a few places in Saugerties, NY (30 mins away across the Hudson River) that have availability. We'll try to post that information soon, but feel free to contact us if you're interested.

Accommodations

If you have not already arranged accommodations, we encourage you to do so soon (click on the link at the bottom of the page for more info). Two of the places where we have reserved rooms--the Union Street Guest House and the St. Charles Hotel--will be releasing those rooms to the general public on Monday, June 13. Rooms at the third, the Beekman Arms, will be held until July 13. If you have any questions or need any help, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!

Also, for those of you who will be in the area on Friday August 12th, we are planning on having an informal gathering that evening near the wedding site. Details to come!

We're getting married!

Hi everyone. This is our wedding-page-in-progress. In the coming months we will be updating it with helpful information. For now, we want to let you know that the wedding will be happening at Kevin's parents' house near Tivoli, New York. We're very excited about the prospect of seeing you all there.

Also, please take a look at the Accommodations page (link below)--we know that August 13 feels far away now, but the area is a very popular summer weekend destination and we want to make sure that everyone who is coming will have a place to stay.
